A Day in the Life of the Community Police
in the Central Business District.
Dear Operator,
To ensure safety, order, and community well-being, the Central Business District Foundation (CBDF) have entered into an agreement with the Malta Police for the provision of Police Services. Through this agreement, two dedicated police officers are sent daily, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, alongside
their electric patrol vehicle, GVP 637 which was the first electric vehicle of the Malta Police and was also funded by the CBDF. Their day is a mix of patrols, community engagement, enforcement, and incident response, all aimed at maintaining the district’s continued smooth operation.
