Since the implementation of the Traffic Management System in Mriehel, The Foundation in collaboration with the Police Force initiated a patrolling and Rapid Response Pilot project. Two police officers are patrolling the area from Monday to Friday – 8am till 5pm in order to educate, enforce and support the Central Business District as necessary. To facilitate we have also dedicated a telephone number 99173777 in order to reach the police officers on duty when necessary.
This pilot project is funded by the Foundation and will last till the end of the year. Following feedback and data analysis of this project we will look into the possibility of having this service as a permanent one.
